Shannen graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Administration with a Minor in Marketing and Finance. Upon graduating, she spent almost a decade utilizing her degree working in various positions in the automotive industry, where she gained an abundance of experience and knowledge. Her determination and perseverance allowed her to broaden her skillset in a number of areas, including sales, marketing, finance, HR, and business management. Shannen loves to challenge herself, which is what inspired her to make the move from the automotive industry to the mortgage industry. She is a determined, encouraging, and helpful person who actively practices being a better person today than she was yesterday. She encourages the people around her at Happy Mortgage to do the same. Her primary goal going forward is to soak up as much knowledge about the mortgage industry as possible so that she can continue to advance and eventually master it.

When she isn’t working, Shannen loves to spend time with her son. After becoming a parent, she found that her views on life and what is important changed for the better. She recently moved to the suburbs and hopes to expand her family by four paws as soon as her son learns to walk. Shannen also loves doing DIY projects, being active, and watching sports.
